Why do you play football?
To have fun and make memories with my best friends. I also grew up watching my cousins playing football and making memories with their friends and always looked up to them
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
Tyler Phillips, pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies. I know him from working at the Reading Fightin Phil’s and he is one of the nicest athletes that I have ever met. Also a very talented pitcher
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
I remember a play in mighty mites (youth football), we were playing Daniel Boone and it was the 4th quarter and we were down by 2 points. We were on offense and had time for one last play and I remember telling my coach to give me the ball, which was kind of selfish. But I ran the ball and scored the game winning touchdown as time expired. A moment with my friends that I won’t forget
What was last years season like for you?
I feel like last season I grew a lot. I felt that I went from being a young guy on the team who looked up to the upperclassmen, to becoming a guy that younger players can look up to. Very grateful for the experience that I gained and the leadership that our seniors had.
What are your goals for this coming season?
To be a leader for my teammates, to help younger players grow, have fun with my friends, win league, district, and state championships

J’ven Williams
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
Phillies 2022 NLCS Game 4, I was able to watch this game in person and the crowd energy was insane.
Describe what the perfect teammate is
Someone who gives their all everyday, is supportive and cares about everyone, and someone who can be a good friend on and off the field
Tell everyone why you think football is good for a community
Football brings so many people in a community together. Not only do players, coaches, and parents come together during the season, but people like teachers, administrators, business owners, former players, and so many more are so supportive. Football has brought Wyomissing so close together that our coaches describe it as the “Wyo Football Family”.
Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
I would love to hurdle someone in a game. I don’t think it will happen since it is illegal to do in highschool, I might have a shot in college
Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
My Dad is my mentor. He is always has a positive outlook and strives to be better everyday. He also does not care what people think about him and does things that make him happy.
What is your favorite practice drill? What is your least favorite practice drill?
My favorite practice drill is buddy breaks, where defensive backs practice their reaction and breaking on a pass in coverage. My least favorites drill is pushing the sled.
Preseason Two a Days are:
Tiring during the moment, but lots of fun when you look back on them.
Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?
My cousin Jordan, he played when he was in high school and just graduated college. He came back this year to start coaching for us. He coaches both of the positions that he used to play and that I play now. It is kind of a full circle moment and I know he is rooting for me.
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
EA College football 25. I like to beat my friends in online head to head
What is your favorite play to run?
Blue Counter 47 Option Reverse
is a hot dog a sandwich? If not, then why?
No, Hot Dogs are in their own category. They also only have one piece of bread
Music of choice:
Classic Rock, Coach Ferrandino has a great playlist in the weight room
Best thing you ever got from a teammate? Why?
Small knee pads that fit into the game pants well. The company that makes them doesn’t make them anymore so they are special
Best Pizza topping?
None, good pizza doesn’t need toppings
What is your favorite vacation destination?
Orlando Florida
Do you remember what the first football game you saw was?
Wyomissing in the State Championship in 2012, I watched it at home on tv when I was 6
