York Suburban dominated York Catholic with a final score of 42-0. The game was started on Friday night, however, only 30 seconds into the second quarter, severe weather forced the game to be postponed until Monday evening.
Trojan player CJ Rissmiller finished the game with 4 touchdowns, while Donovan Alicea and Steven Bowman both found the back of the endzone for the Trojans. Their defense also performed well with 1 interception and 1 fumble recovery, and they did not allow the Fighting Irish to find the back of the endzone.
After their win, the Trojans advance to 1-2, while York Catholic falls to 0-2. York Suburban plays this Saturday (9/16) at home against West York, and the Fighting Irish play away at Bermudian Springs this Friday (9/15).
