Who is your favorite sports star and why?
J.J. Watt is my favorite sports star because of his motivation and determination to win. I was never a fan of the Texans but when I saw a video describing Watts routine of getting up at 4am to hit the gym, i became interested in his work ethic.
Why do you play football?
I play football because I see it to be the ultimate team sport. A lot of other sports can have a stand out player to carry them through the season. With football its all about the strength of the team and less about the strength of individual players.
What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?
When the Game Stand Tall. I believe it shows an accurate representation of a good team and coach and also shows the hardships that both can undergo.
What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
Freshman year on JV our kicker got injured and we had no one else to kick, so I volunteered to do the kickoff until our kicker got better. This was embarassing because of my inability to place the ball on the tee and keep it there, after about 5 attempts of me taking a step back and it falling down again, we had to have one of my team hold the ball for me.
