Montoursville has had four straight winning seasons. What must you guys do as a unit to keep the streak alive?
We need to stick together and do our jobs. Football is a team game, we all have to do our 1/11th and have each other’s backs on the field and good things will happen.
What are your personal goals as well as the goals you have set for the team?
My personal goals: All-State WR…. Team goals: Winning season. District title run.
Which side of the ball do you like playing on the most?
I like offense the most. With my athleticism and speed, I know I can make big plays in big moments in any game.
As far as road games go, where is the toughest place to play? Explain
Loyalsock. The rivalry is unmatched. It’s a very different atmosphere. But we are ready for the challenge and ready to defend our bridge.
When the game is on the line, do you want to be on offense or defense? Explain
Defense wins games. If we score on offense, we might win. If they don’t score on offense, we won’t lose.
What makes playing at Montoursville so special?
Montoursville is a winning school. Whether it’s football, wrestling, basketball, baseball, etc. Winning is what we do, and the community is always there to support us and cheer us on.
What is the best and worst part of practice?
The best part of the practice is team sessions. It’s where the practice is the most physical and everyone is getting after it. The worst part is the character runs. But they only make us better.
After the season is over, how important is it to you to be able to play in one or two of the All-Star games around the state?
I would love the play in the All-Star games. To be able to get on the field with the best of the best, and play one or two more games with the guys I’ve been playing with since I was a kid would be pretty awesome.
What is my favorite type of music?
Rap.
