Words from the Coach:
“at 106 lbs, Nolan started at Free Safety for us his very first game as a Freshman. That goes to show what kind of player he is. He is mentally and physically tough, and tries to do everything correctly. As a freshman, was the best DB fundamentally that we had. We saw his vision as Freshman in practice as a TB but were concerned about him taking repeated hits. Fast forward to his Sophomore year, we planned to use him more at slot, WR and maybe a little at TB but halfway through the year, he took over as our starting TB and ran for over 500yds in our last 4 games. Coming into his Junior year, he was poised to take on a larger role in the offense and took on a large leadership role as well. Knows the entire defense and offense and knows what everyone should be doing. Trying to capitalize on his leadership skills and knowledge of the offense we moved him to QB a couple of games into the season. In 2 games at QB, Nolan ran for 175yds, lead us to a near upset of state ranked Tri-Valley and also to our first win on the season. Unfortunately in that win, broke his foot and missed the rest of the season. We missed him greatly because he plays essentially every snap of every game in all 3 phases and we missed his leadership. We are looking forward to his senior season as he is hungry and motivated and wants more than anything to win football games.”

Why do you play football ?
My oldest brother started playing football his Junior year of high school when I was around the age of 8, so my parents finally let me play.
Who is your favorite sports star and why ?
Bo Nickal, he was a dominant wrestler at Penn State when I was young and just recently made his debut in the UFC.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most ? Explain:
Completing a two-point conversion pass to Garret Laudenslager my Freshman year.
What was last year’s season like for you ?
We had a slow two first games and then the team started to accelerate once I switched to quaterback. Sadly I experienced my first ever sports injury and only got to play four games, but Freshman Kaiden Maurer stepped in and led the team which I’m looking forward to seeing him under center this year.
What stadium, (HS/College/Pro) would you love to visit for a game ?
Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia
What is your favorite Pro Sports team(any sport) ? Explain:
The Philadelphia Eagles because the Eagles are the best in High School and Pro.
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why ?
My Sophomore year, Line Mountain vs James Buchanan in the pouring rain.
What sports movie could you watch every day if you had to pick one, and why ?
Rocky IV, because he not only gets to fight for himself but fight for his best friend Apollo Creed.
Name one thing you’d love to do in football that may never happen ?
I’d love for our team to have a comeback year this year and make it deep into the playoffs.
Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:
Pickle-Ball, I just don’t have time right now.
Tell us something about playing for Line Mountain that stands out, that others may not know ?
We have the best and most supportive community.
When you aren’t playing, practicing, or training for sports, what is your go to activity, and why ?
Either cliff jumping for the adrenaline rush or just sitting down at a fire with friends.
Which one, Sheetz, Wawa, or Rutters ? Explain:
Sheetz for sure, it’s the closest one around in our area.
What is your favorite vacation destination ?
Hatters, NC

NFL, because it’s the closest league I can relate to with football experience.

Playstation, just because they’re the best in the game.

Drive to Florida.

Keep strong family ties because they’re the most important in life.
Location you think would be the best place to live(ie: island, mountains, city, etc) ? Explain why:
The mountains, I grew up in the country and plan to stay there.
