Words from the Coach:
“Nate played defensive end, fullback, and was our long snapper last year. Nate only played in a little over half of our games in the 2022 season due to an injury he suffered in Week-5 that had him sit out a number of games and limited him in others. At defensive end, Nate had 26 total tackles(5 for loss) and a sack in 2022. At fullback, he was a tremendous blocker for us. Nate is a hard worker both on and off the field. He is also a very dedicated student and a member of the National Honor Society. The coaching staff is excited to see Nate healthy and bringing his intense and physical brand of football onto the field for the Warriors in 2023.”

Why do you play football ?
I’ve loved the sport since I was a kid and I love that I get to play every Friday night with my guys that I’ve played with since we were kids.

Who is your favorite sports star and why ?
Tim Tebow, because he was an intense competitor and strong leader.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most ? Explain:
When we played Lewisburg last year, we scored a game winning touchdown with like 20 seconds left in the game.

What was last year’s season like for you ?
It was a transition year from being a one-way starter to a two-way starter. There are definitely a lot more expectations stepping into an upperclassmen role.

Who is the best player you have ever lined up against ?
Ty Stauffer from Danville. He hurt to tackle him. I could say the same about Ethan Dominick from Lewisburg.

What stadium, (HS/College/Pro) would you love to visit for a game ?
I’ve heard high school football is intense down in Texas, so I’d like to see a game down there.

What is your favorite Pro Sports team(any sport) ? Explain:
The Miami Dolphins have been my family’s team for a long time.

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why ?
My Sophomore year when we played Loyalsock was the most fun I’ve ever had playing football. The rivalry is always a good game.

What sports movie could you watch every day if you had to pick one, and why ?
The Blindside, it shows how a little kindness can turn someone’s life around.

Name one thing you’d love to do in football that may never happen ?
I want to win a district championship and advance to the state playoffs. I even want to go beyond that point.

Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:
Lacrosse and Hockey

What is your most embarrassing sports moment ?
When I was a Freshman, I went first at pasta night on accident. The seniors weren’t too happy.

Tell us something about playing for Montoursville that stands out, that others may not know ?
We always have a chip on our shoulder because everyone gives us low expectations.

When you aren’t playing, practicing, or training for sports, what is your go to activity, and why ?
I love hanging out with my guys and playing guitar. You could catch me fishing a lot too.

Which one, Sheetz, Wawa, or Rutters ? Explain:
Sheetz because of those mac and cheese bites.

What is your favorite vacation destination?
Daufuskie Island

Tell us something that you have a fear of ?
Growing up.

Favorite Fast Food/Burger place and why ?
Five Guys, The price is worth the burger.

History

Zach Bryan or Billy Joel

NBA, NHL, MLB, NCAAF, NFL, Which league is the best and why ?
NCAAF, they are the most exciting to watch.

Best Video Game Console(XBox/Playstation/Sega/Atari/etc) and why ?
Playstation, because we don’t need batteries.

Airplane, Boat, or Vehicle(motorcycles included), how would you travel and to where ?
I would travel by boat to Greece.

Name one thing in life(NOT SPORTS RELATED) you would like to achieve:
Put both of my parents into retirement so they never have to work again.

Location you think would be the best place to live(ie: island, mountains, city, etc) ? Explain why:
The mountains, because you could live a quiet life.
