Coach says: “Jeremiah is a great leader and captain of our team. Due to tremendous strength size speed, and a will to compete. Jeremiah has been a standout player since his entry into the high school program as a freshman. We use Jeremiah in a variety of positions on offense and defense and doing so he optimizes being the point of the spear. Jeremiah is also the president of his class and one of the top ranked students academically in his graduating class.


Let’s get to know Jeremiah!

Why do you play football?

I like to be able to express my true self playing the game I love , hangout with my friends , and I love the feeling of training and working hard to hopefully get the chance to play Division One Ball.

It’s gameday! What are you looking forward to the most? 

Seeing the fear of the opponent when they line up against me

Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?

Aaron Donald, because he has worked hard for everything he has. He has always been a great person, and reminds me of myself and who I want to become .

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:

Against our rivals Montoursville during the battle of the bridge. It was the 2nd drive of the game when i came off the edge and got a tackle for loss, setting the tone for the whole game hyping up my team and the student section.

What was last years season like for you?

Disappointing and Heartbreaking

What are your goals for this coming season?

First Team All State Defensive Tackle Lead my team to the State Tournament

Who is the best player you ever lined up against?

Justin Kutcher

When the game is on the line, which college/professional coach would you like to call in the play? 

Nick Saban

What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?

Penn State, specifically the whiteout game

What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?

Dallas Cowboys Chicago Bulls Toronto Blue Jays

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?

2016 Cowboys vs. Steelers because it was a great game with both teams going back and forth and Ezekiel Elliot scoring the game winning touchdown with 9 seconds left.

What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?

Cool Runnings because it shows that you should always try new things no matter what others think of you , and that being who you are will get you far .

If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?

Things I cannot repeat

Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?

Play Qb

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?

Logan Bastian , because he was always a great leader to our team and was one of the hardest working people i’ve ever met . He showed a true love for the game and made an huge impact on me as a young player.

Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:

Baseball

What is your most embarrassing sports moment?

During our youth football camp i was living the dream of being a wide receiver. Me and Gage Patterson were doing 1on1 and during it i stepped on a football spraining my ankle really bad that put me on crutches.

Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?

My girlfriend Kendall because she motivates me and pushes me to be a better player and person.

When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?

Playing piano because it’s very relaxing and calming listening to the wonderful sounds of music.

What is your favorite football memory to date?

My freshman year practicing in the snow the day before the District Championship

What is your favorite play to run?

Thunder or Georgia

What scares you the most?

Losing my family

What is your favorite vacation destination?

The Beach
