Coach Says: Will be a 3-year starter at quarterback, does a great job running our offense and he is a good runner.
Why do you play football?
FUN!!! I love having fun, and playing with my friends. The opportunity for all of my friends to be together doing something we love is special
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
Mike Evans, my favorite NFL team is the Buccaneers and I’ve loved watching him since he was drafted
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
Grady Garcias first touchdown in the state championship. Being a lead blocker on the play and hearing all of Southern Columbia cheer from the stands while standing in the end zone was a surreal experience
What was last years season like for you?
The most fun I’ve ever had playing with a team along with winning a state championship. We came off a disappointing year the year prior so to be able to come back and be on top of two A was amazing
What are your goals for this coming season?
Run it back! The goal is and always was to win the state championship so the goal stays the same. Play as a team and kick some butt
Who is the best player you ever lined up against?
Justice Hardy from when he was at Wyomissing is the first one to come to mind. Let’s just say he played well and leave it at that
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
I was at the Bills vs Vikings game back in 2023 when Justin Jefferson had that crazy one handed catch. The game went into overtime and was just wild overall
Describe what the perfect teammate is
The perfect teammate to me is someone who puts the team ahead of themselves. I cannot stand stats so teammates who dwell on stats do not have my heart
Tell everyone why you think football is good for a community
The chemistry that is built from football is unique. The energy, competitiveness, and atmosphere all allow for the community to pull closer together
Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
Ooh I’d love to hurdle someone, stay in stride and take off for a touchdown. It’s something that just has to happen naturally though, you can’t really try for it or force it
Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
Definitely my father. The way that he thinks and approaches different situations and/or conflicts is admirable. Huge role model in my life
What is your favorite practice drill? What is your least favorite practice drill?
My favorite is not necessarily a drill but I really enjoy running scout team and running the opponents plays for the week against our starting defense. My least favorite drill is our two minute drill which is just tiring but I still enjoy it
Preseason Two a Days are:
Exhausting. They make for some good after practice naps though
Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?
My physical therapist Kaila has always supported and been there for me. Shes a lovely role model and a wonderful person
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
I always have to be doing something, I get bored easily. I enjoy baking, specifically for others, as well as golfing, bowling, running, pretty much anything active
What is your favorite play to run?
Ooh waggle keep. The play consists of me faking to both the fullback and running back, hiding the ball with my back to the defense then turning the corner and following the guard and fullback. Chef’s kiss😘
is a hot dog a sandwich? If not, then why?
No, the people who say it’s a sandwich need so much justification. Just look at it
Music of choice:
Im a big SZA guy. She has a ton of my favorite songs
Best thing you ever got from a teammate? Why?
Probably a snowball to the back. It initiated a snowball fight which means I got to let some snowballs fly in the parking lot
Best pizza topping?
Pepperoni
What is your favorite vacation destination?
Rehoboth but any beach that has a boardwalk
Do you remember what the first football game you saw was?
Not really but I vividly remember watching my high school team play while growing up
