Here are the teams from District 4 who have made it to the PIAA title game and their overall record in the championships.

Southern Columbia and Mount Carmel have been the face of District 4 for two decades.  Southern made nine straight Single-A title game appearances while MCA made six appearances in the nine years back in the 90s.  Neither team has been as successful in recent years, but still have the legacy of being state powers.

District 4 title game facts:

• Southern is tied with Berwick for the most state titles in history (6).
• Selinsgrove became the third District 4 team to win a title in 2009 and the first one not in Class AA and A.
• Mount Carmel won every even year from 1994 to 2002, but didn’t win in an odd years during that stretch.
