Shamokins Undefeated Streak Stays Alive

Shamokin Advances to 6-0.

Shamokins  Chase Pensyl takes it to the house for a 94-yard score on the game’s first kickoff. They failed to accomplish the point on the extra attempt. Selinsgrove’s senior running back, Ethan Miller, rushed for 24 yards for the touchdown, and the kick is good.

After that, Shamokin advances down the field. On fourth and 1, they attempt a quarterback sneak, but Selinsgrove’s defense stops them and recovers the ball. Shamokin moves down the field to close the first half of the game, and Chase Pensyl attempts a field goal, which is successful.

In the third quarter Shamokin has a crazy snap as it goes over Logan Steeles head but he manages to get it and scramble away from the defense and finds Rylan Price wide open in the back of the end zone for 6 and the kick is good. On the next drive Shamokins  Kaidin Parker gets an interception and Logan Steele punches it in on the quarterback keeper for 6 and the kick is good.

In the 4th quarter Rocco Amato throws a deep ball to Gavin Bastian with 2 defenders on him, he came down with it for 6. Selinsgrove went for the 2 point conversion but they failed to convert it. Shamokins defense came up with the game sealing interception and Shamokin drained the clock to end the game as they move onto 6-0 on the year.
