WORDS FROM THE HEAD COACH:

Cooper will be the anchor of our Defense this year and he will be our feature RB. He is an all-state caliber DE with great size and speed.

What is the best part of being a student-athlete at Berlin-Brothersvalley High School ?
Playing with my best friends from school.

How long have you been playing football(any level) ?
9 years

Of all the road games you have played, which stadium had the best overall atmosphere, along with what made it so good ?
Windber High School, our small away side is always more full then their entire hill of bleachers.

If the game is on the line, do you want to be on offense or defense ? Explain
I would want to be on defense because, I believe defense wins the game.

As an athlete, what has been your biggest achievement ?
Starting Varsity all 4 years of my high school career, knowing I’ve worked as hard as possible for myself and the team.

What was the high point of the 2023 season ?
Winning against Chestnut Ridge to send us to the D5 Championship for the 2nd year in a row.

What are you going to miss the most from the class of 2024 ?
The leadership and friendship I had, I grew up with the boys, they were on my first football team.

What are your goals for the 2024 season ?
Make it back to the D5 Championship and take it beyond there, but above all, have fun because it’s my final year.

Who is your favorite sports star and why ?
TJ Watt, he’s always consistent and when the Steelers need him the most he’s there for the team.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most ? Explain:
Last year when we were playing Chestnut Ridge, a ball went through Aidan Ream’s hands and Zander Ritenour caught it behind him.

Who is the best player(s) you have ever lined up against and what team did they play for ?
John Shuster from Windber.

What stadium, (HS/College/Pro) would you love to visit for a game ?
I would like to go to a Penn State WHITEOUT game, I’ve seen videos and it looks like a crazy atmosphere.

What is your favorite Pro Sports team(any sport) ? Explain:
The Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates.

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why ?
I went to a Steelers wild card game once a couple years ago, it was freezing but I wasn’t even cold because it was electric there.

What sports movie could you watch every day if you had to pick one, and why ?
The Waterboy, it’s funny and his story is very good.

Name one thing you’d love to do in football that may never happen ?
I’d love to play in the NFL, for the Steelers.

Lacrosse

What is your most embarrassing sports moment ?
Anytime I get yelled at.

When you aren’t playing, practicing, or training for sports, what is your go to activity, and why ?
Work, or racing dirt bikes.

Sheetz, I grew up in Somerset, PA that’s all we know is Sheetz.

What is your favorite vacation destination ?
Florida

Tell us something that you have a fear of ?
Snakes, they’re weird the way they move.

Favorite Fast Food/Burger place and why ?
Chick-Fil-A, best fries and chicken sandwiches, not to mention the sauce.

Have you ever been to a professional sports game, which ones ?
A bunch of NFL and MLB games and a couple NHL games.

NBA, NHL, MLB, NCAAF, NFL, Which league is the best and why ?
NFL, the easiest sport to understand and you never know what is going to happen the next play.

What is your favorite video game, on mobile and or console ?
Farming Simulator, it’s very relaxing.

What toppings go on your favorite pizza ?
Pepperoni, Cheese, and Sausage.

Anatomy

Treaty Oak Revival, or Jason Aldean

Car, I would drive down to Florida.

I would like to own my own construction company one day.

Somerset, PA you have people around but they’re not at your back door.
