WORDS FROM THE HEAD COACH:
Luke was off to an amzing 2023 season but suffered a season ending injury week 5. his work ethic and off season work have made him one of the better players in our area in 2024. look for big things from Luke on both sides of the ball.

What is the best part of being a student-athlete at Windber High School ?
Being able to be apart of the pride and tradition Windber has.
How long have you been playing football(any level) ?
I started playing football in 1st grade when I was 7 years old.
Of all the road games you have played, which stadium had the best overall atmosphere, along with what made it so good ?
Berlin, the energy and the noise in the stadium was amazing.
If the game is on the line, do you want to be on offense or defense ? Explain:
Defense, it would be easier to get a stop than score a touchdown.
As an athlete, what has been your biggest achievement ?
Winning the District 5 Championship.
What was the high point of the 2023 season ?
Rushing for 320 yards week 1.
What are you going to miss the most from the class of 2024 ?
The Seniors leadership.
What are your goals for the 2024 season ?
Win Districts !
Who is your favorite sports star and why ?
Saquon Barkley, because I love watching him run the football.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most ? Explain:
Breaking an 80 yard touchdown against Glendale.
Who is the best player(s) you have ever lined up against and what team did they play for ?
Alex Erby – Steelton-Highspire !
What stadium, (HS/College/Pro) would you love to visit for a game ?
Beaver Stadium
What is your favorite Pro Sports team(any sport) ? Explain:
Penn State, because I grew up watching them.
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why ?
2022 District 5 Championship, because we shut Northern Bedford out and beat them by two touchdowns.
What sports movie could you watch every day if you had to pick one, and why ?
Remember the Titans because it is a very motivational movie.
Name one thing you’d love to do in football that may never happen ?
Hurdle a player on defense.

Lacrosse

Fumbling the football at the 1 yard line.

Watching TV, because it is relaxing.
