Let’s get to know Jakobe
Why do you play football?
The reason I play football is for the challenges and the culture. Football is just preparing you for life with all the challenges and the ups and downs you face each week.
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
Mine is Saquon Barkley, because he is a man of God and just makes the game more exciting to watch when he gets the ball.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
Scoring on the first drive of our first game last year, setting the tone to win the game.
What was your toughest game in 2024 season?
All of them were tough. No game was given to us, we had to work hard in every single one.
What are your goals for this coming season?
To have a winning season, play hard, and have fun with my friends.
Who is the best player you ever lined up against?
Adam Johnson
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
Penn State vs SMU in the 2025 college football playoff. Even though it was cold, the stadium was rockin and Penn State kept the energy up and kept scoring.
What do you consider your best characteristic?
My agility
Tell everyone why you think football is good for a community
Football brings everyone together and everyone has each other’s backs.
Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
Throw a touchdown
Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
My Mom and Dad, because they are hard workers and always are willing to do anything for anyone.
What is your favorite practice drill? What is your least favorite practice drill?
My favorite practice drill is any type of competition we have, and my least favorite is conditioning.
Do you enjoy watching other teams in your school compete?
Yes
Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?
My sister Hattie, she is really close with me and she is always at every game cheering as loud as she can with a shirt on that says #5 Harman.
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and WHY?
Spending time with friends and family.
What is your favorite play to run?
Toss
what is your favorite pregame ritual?
Drinking gatorade with pickle juice mixed in it.

Rap or pop
Best place in your town to eat after a game? Why?
Sheetz because it’s convenient and easy.

Bacon
What is your favorite vacation destination?
Charleston, SC
If you could attend any sports event for free what would it be?
Olympics
