
Meyersdale Area School District officials approve move to LHAC; More moves likely to follow

The Meyersdale Area School District moved one step closer to joining the Laurel Highlands Athletic Conference for all sports.
On Wednesday, the school board approved the move for the Red Raiders to leave the WestPAC and become a member of the LHAC.

However, it is not a done deal yet.
“There are a conglomeration of other (Somerset) County School Boards that need to act as well ,this month, for the whole process to simultaneously proceed,” said Meyersdale Athletic Director Craig Gindlesperger.
