Who is your favorite sports star and why?
my favorite sports star is Andy Hawkins. He’s from my rival school Bishop MCort but he’s only 5’9 and nobody ever makes it out of Johnstown Pennsylvania and seeing him make it out is just inspirational
Why do you play football?
I play football so I can make it to the next level . I wanna make my parents proud most of all because they’ve invested so much into me and I just wanna be able to give back one day, I hope that in my senior season some school will give me a chance so I can fulfill my dream and become a African American history teacher
What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?
It would the bad news bears. I chose this movie because my junior season was terrible and I plan on changing it around my season season
What cartoon character do you think your head coach most resembles.
It’s not a cartoon character but I’d say that dad from boyz in the hood . My coach is a captain in the army and he’s always expressing knowledge to me and he’s definitely a role model in my life .
If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?
My parents usually yell take over the game or they give me “the stare” which means I know that I should’ve made a play
Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?
My church is my biggest supporter they’re always checkin up on me
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
I’m either in church or helping my aunt out because she is elderly and she can’t do much because she’s partially blind
