What does your offense need to improve on from last year?
We need to be able to move the ball more consistently. In order to do so, we need to be take better care of the ball on offense. Botched snaps and turnovers killed a lot of drives last year. The ability to be versatile this year is key, we became one dimensional after our QB was hurt last year. If we are able to prevent teams from stacking the box against the run, we have the opportunity to be successful.
What does your defense need to improve on from last year
We need to improve on our tackling and running to the ball. We gave up a lot of big plays last year due to missed tackles, and giving up on a play. We will work to get 11 men to the ball, and be more aggressive on defense. Having the ability to get more kids out, and find more athletes will help improve our ability to make plays on defense.
What are your overall thoughts on this years team?
I believe our team can be competitive this year. We have been working throughout the off-season to get better, and the team is motivated for the season. As long as the team keeps improving, and stays motivated, we have the opportunity to compete in every game we play this year.
