Why do you play football?

Ethan: I’ve always played football. It’s just a whole different feeling to be out there with a team and if you work harder you’re better and you win.  

What has been your best memory from football so far?

Ethan: Last year, winning the district championship.  

Who is your favorite pro athlete and why?

Ethan: David Taylor, he was a Penn State wrestler and I worked out at his training center a lot and helped me a lot with wrestling and life. I’ve asked him questions and he’s always been there. 

Who is your biggest fan and why?

Ethan: My dad, he never misses a game and never misses a match and he’s always trying to help me in any way he can.

Is there any specific person you look up to and use as a role model?

Ethan: Also, my dad, we’ve been through some rough times and my dad has always been unbreakable and always pushes through everything. 

What is your desired major in college?

Ethan: Forestry  

What are some team goals for this upcoming season?

Ethan: My Freshman year we won districts and the next game we lost and the same thing for the next year so we want to get further than that. 

How has COVID-19 affected you?

Ethan: It was really weird because I come off wrestling season and I’d go right into football and I didn’t have that in my life and I didn’t get to see my coaches or teammates.  

What is your personal goal for this season?

Ethan: 1,000 yards passing and this year is gonna be a lot different because we don’t have C.J. so I’ll have to step it up in the running game as well.

Favorite pre-game meal?

Ethan: Chicken tenders

Ethan: Facing the Giants

Sport you’d love to play but can’t?

Ethan: Baseball

Favorite activities?

Ethan: Love to hunt and fish and ride four-wheelers
