Why do you play football?
JD: I started at a young age and just fell in love with it and it’s really just for the love of the sport.
What has been your best memory from football so far?
JD: The two district championships
Who is your favorite pro athlete and why?
JD: Sebastian Vollmer, he was a left tackle for the New England Patriots and he was good at everything he did and Loved watching him play.
Who is your biggest fan and why?
JD: My parents, it doesn’t matter how cold the Friday night is or how far away it is or anything, they are always there watching the game and have never missed one.
Is there any specific person you look up to and use as a role model?
JD: My dad the most, he’s taught me the most about life in general just not football but life. He strives to be the best he can.
What is your desired major in college?
JD: Social studies/history teacher
What are some team goals for this upcoming season?
JD: As a Bellefonte team goal, we always have the goal to win the district title, it is always one of our goals we stick by every year. I think we would also really like to make a state run this year.
How has COVID-19 affected you?
JD: It’s made it really hard to do stuff. Working out is not the same as usual and you don’t get to see your teammates and friends as much so it has completely changed the atmosphere around how we work and how everything gets done.
What is your personal goal for this season?
JD: To be a leader and be the best teammate I can be.
Favorite play to run?
JD: Power
Favorite pre-game meal?
JD: Chicken fingers and mashed potatoes
Sports movie?
JD: Remember the Titans
Sport you’d love to play but can’t?
JD: Lacrosse
Favorite activities?
JD: Hunt, fish and go swimming
