Why do you play football?

I started playing football my seventh-grade year to try and make friends and I have fell in love with the sport and met my closest friends in it.

What has been your best memory from football so far?

My sophomore year we made a run in the state tournament and I will never forget that year because of the incredible group of seniors that were leaders on and off the field. They made all the freezing cold and late practices more enjoyable and we might not have won a state title but we were proud of what we accomplished and so was the community.

Who is your favorite pro athlete and why?

Tom Brady, I get a lot of slack for being a Brady fan but his strive for excellence and ultimate competitor attitude make him the GOAT. I aspire to always have that chip on my shoulder and keep working and getting better so that when my opportunity comes I can make the best of it, as he did when Bledsoe got taken out of the game.

Who is your biggest fan and why?

My mom has to be my biggest fan, she might not always understand what’s going on or why everybody looks at her funny when she accidentally cheers for the other team but she will always be my biggest support and somebody I can count on no matter what.

Is there any specific person you look up to and use as a role model?

I try to not model myself off of one person but rather find the characteristics of important people in my life and try to adopt all of them to make myself a better person.

What is your desired major in college?

I would like to study criminal psychology.

How has COVID 19 affected you?

The pandemic has given me an opportunity to see exactly what is important to me and how easily things can be taken away from you.  If there’s one thing I’ve learned it’s to live life now, don’t wait because you never know what may happen and it’s through these experiences that we build our character.

Favorite play to run?

I love getting wide off the edge and using my speed and hands to shed the block.

What is your personal goal for this season?

My goal for this season is to improve upon the last, and I would love to dominate the competition.

Favorite pre-game meal?

Our Booster Club donates some of the best chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever had.

Sports movie?

Varsity Blues.

Sport you’d love to play but can’t?

Men’s volleyball.

Most embarrassing sports moment?

In my last year of teener league, I was going to throw to home from RF and I put a bit too much mustard on the ball and it went clear over the backstop.

What are you looking forward to most this year?

I’m hoping we can finally get back to normal and not have to constantly worry about COVID.

Favorite activities?

I like to go hunting, fishing, taking the doors off the jeep, and going for a ride.
