LET’S GET TO KNOW KAHALE

Why do you play football?

I play football because football is a big part of our community and I want to make the community proud of Bald Eagle Football. And I also do it for the family aspect of things. We are one big family and it’s an amazing thing to be apart of.

Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?

My favorite sports player is Derek Jeter. I always loved watching him play growing up and he’s a great role model for younger people.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:

My favorite football play would have to be against Bellefonte at Bellefonte. Last play of the half and we were around our own 25 yard line. I received a screen and my teammates blocked up front and I got out and juked and broke lots of ankles and took it all the way to end the half.

What was last years season like for you?

Last years season started off very rough and we picked it up and sat nice for playoffs but our season didn’t end the way we wanted it to going out in the district semi-finals. I enjoyed every moment of it though with my teammates and coaches.

What are your goals for this coming season?

My goal for this upcoming season would be district title and nothing less than that. Also to make a run in states. I believe we have the guys to accomplish great things this year.

Who is the best player you ever lined up against?

Not sure

What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?

I would love to visit Clemsons stadium and see the hill.

What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?

New York Yankees and the Golden State Warriors

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?

The Whiteout game against Minnesota this year would have to be my favorite game I’ve ever watched because the atmosphere of the stadium was like no other.

What would you do to improve the recruiting process?

I would say that the coaches could respond more often. Sometimes they don’t respond all the time which I completely understand they receive many things per day from many people.

Describe what the perfect teammate is

Someone who is positive but can get on you if you need to work harder and someone you can count on to be there for you.

Tell everyone why you think football is good for a community

Football brings everyone together especially when you win. It’s an incredible atmosphere especially at BEA when we win. People support us and are there for our games every Friday night.

Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?

Be quarterback for one drive.

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
