Xander ran for over 1,000 yards in his first yar as a running back. He has also recorded over 200 total tackles in his first 2 years as a starting linebacker. We will rely heavily on Xander on both sides of the ball. He is a born leader and a great role model.

What are your goals for the 2024 tackle football season?

Win a conference championship, win a district championship, and see how far we can make it.

RB, OLB Of the two positions, which one is harder for you to prepare for?

I feel like RB is harder to prepare for because of all of the schemes that the defenses throw at you, and being a quarterback before helps me check off some of the reads on defense, and playing both sides of the ball helps me also think from the defensive perspective as a running back.

RB, OLB: Which of the two positions do you feel you are best at?

I feel equally as strong on defense as I do on offense.

What made you pick the jersey number you did?

For some reason, I have always liked the number 5 since I was a kid.

What was the highlight of the 2023 season?

My 72-yard run against Tyrone.

What is the worst weather to play in?

Cold rain

Who is the toughest teammate to square up against at practice?

Mason Papinchak

What makes you a good teammate?

My leadership and how I step up in tough situations.

Which teammate is most likely to do something to get a laugh when things are a little tense?

Bryce Roberts

Who is the best player that you have faced in a game, along with the team he played for?

Evan McCracken. He played for Richland.

As an athlete, in any sport, at any age, what has been your biggest moment?

Pitching to get my team to the World Series for Pony League

Beaver Stadium

Math
