Let’s get to know Eric:

How many years have you played Football?

I’ve played football for 6 years.

How many years have you been a starter at the varsity level?

I’ve started since my freshman season at QB; so, I’ll be a 4-year starter this season.

What is your current positions (Def/Off)? I’m a quarterback on offense and play corner on defense.

What are your team and individual goals for the season?

My goals are to help my team win as many games as possible.

What are your future plans?

I plan on attending college to play baseball

What does playing for Huntingdon mean to you?

Huntingdon football has a great tradition, one of the best in the state. Growing up, my dad would often bring me to practices and was on the sidelines for many games. So, playing for the Bearcats means a great deal to me.

What are your goals for this coming season?

Win more games and stay healthy. The last two years, I’ve missed some games due to injury. I’d like to avoid the injury bug this season and help my team win games.

What is your favorite subject in school?

History

What other activities do you do besides football?

In addition to football, I wrestle and play baseball.

What are your thoughts on the LHAC?

The LHAC is a very good football conference. We’re working very hard in the weight room and attendance has been good at preseason workouts. Our schedule is very tough, but I think we have the players to win many games this season.

What is the single greatest moment in your high school career?

My greatest moment was our comeback win against Philipsburg as a sophomore.
