LET’S GET TO KNOW CONNOR
Why do you play football?
Because I love the game and the way it can bond you with your teammates to the point where it’s a brotherhood and make it really enjoyable.
It’s gameday! What are you looking forward to the most?
Getting the W with my boys and hearing the band.
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
Probably Travis Hunter because to be able to start both sides of the ball and take as many snaps as her does per game is incredible to do at almost the highest level of the sport.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
It has to be the sluggo I caught a Meadville for a 48 yard touchdown to put us up 9-7, this is my favorite because they had ended our season two years in a row and sent a lot of our seniors home. It was good revenge and nice to do it on there own field.
What was last years season like for you?
It was really enjoyable because I feel like we had a lot of doubters because we graduated a good bit, but we had guys ready to go right away and go further than we ever have before as a whole unit.
What are your goals for this coming season?
Personally I would like to hit at least 35-40 receptions, with 6 or more touchdowns, and defensively 100 tackles. As a team we want to win our league then focus on bigger things when that time comes.
Who is the best player you ever lined up against?
Tucker Teats or Khalon Simmoms
What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?
LSU tiger stadium or FSU Bobby Bowden Field
What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?
49ers
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
Eagles vs Giants Christmas 2015, it was a good all around game with Desean Jackson having a game winning kick return to end it all.
What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?
The benchwarmers, funniest movie I have ever seen.
If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?
Probably to get up.
Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
Not gonna say it won’t happen, but a state championship would be an amazing way to go out as a senior
Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
There’s not really anyone else that I want to be like, I’m cool and content with just being me.
Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:
I would love to know how to wrestle but that ship has sailed a long time ago.
What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
Tucker Teats breaking my ankles.
Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?
My girlfriend because she comes to every game to support no matter how far or what kind of weather it may be.
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
Hanging out with family or friends.
What is your favorite football memory to date?
That one practice with the favorite senior class in a blizzard that just turned into a hour long snowball and tackle fight.
What is your favorite play to run?
Red/Blue 80s “Cornbread” or Diamond Slugger
What scares you the most?
Not being able to stay healthy and be there for my team.
Music of choice:
Pretty much anything for the most part
What was your favorite gift as a little boy? Why?
Any kind of WWE figured, loved them.
What restaurant is your go to when you need a big meal?
Texas Roadhouse
What is your favorite vacation destination?
Ocean City, Maryland
