Sammy is coming off a stellar season rushing for over 1,200 yards and 24 touchdowns. He has been putting in the work in the weight room and off season practices to have an even better season this year. Sammy is the type of player that can break a long run at any given time. He has the ability to score from anywhere on the field with his vision and speed.

What is the best part of being a student-athlete at River Valley High School ?
Going to a small school gives me the opportunity to play multiple sports.

How long have you been playing football(any level) ?

Of all the road games you have played, which stadium had the best overall atmosphere, along with what made it so good ?
Homer-Center

If the game is on the line, do you want to be on offense or defense ? Explain:
I want us to be on offense. I want the ball in our hands to be able to win the game.

As an athlete, what has been your biggest achievement ?
Making Team USA Ball Hockey(goalie)

What was the high point of the 2023 season ?
Going over 1,000 rushing yards in the season during the game against Portage.

What are you going to miss the most from the class of 2024 ?
Our quarterback and linemen.

What are your goals for the 2024 season ?
To have another productive year and win the Heritage.

Who is your favorite sports star and why ?
Larry Fitzgerald because, how he was on and off the field.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most ? Explain:
Scoring a 99 yard touchdown against United on a stretch to the left in Junior High.

What stadium, (HS/College/Pro) would you love to visit for a game ?
State Farm Stadium in Arizona.

What is your favorite Pro Sports team(any sport) ? Explain:
St. Louis Blues, because I always watch them with my dad and it is his favorite team.

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why ?
The 2019 Stanley Cup because my team won it.

Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:
Lacrosse

Hanging out with friends because they are fun to be with.

Sheetz, because it’s local and I go there all the time.
