WORDS FROM THE HEAD COACH:

Chase suffered a season ending collarbone injury in the first half of our opening game. However he was still a valuable part of the team, as he took on a role in the booth on Friday nights. He looks to return and have a strong Senior campaign after already claiming a couple school and county records during his Sophomore season.

What is the best part of being a student-athlete at Southern Huntingdon High School ?
All the support you get from the fans and community.

How long have you been playing football(any level) ?
7 years

Of all the road games you have played, which stadium had the best overall atmosphere, along with what made it so good ?
Playing at Mansion Park in the first round of Districts. All the fans and the intensity of the game.

As an athlete, what has been your biggest achievement ?
Making All-Conference my Sophomore year.

What was the high point of the 2023 season ?
The first quarter of the first game of the season.

What are you going to miss the most from the class of 2024 ?
Being with the guys and playing with them.

What are your goals for the 2024 season ?
To make it to Districts.

Who is your favorite sports star and why ?
Stefon Diggs, the way he plays the game is incomparable.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most ? Explain:
My 4 touchdowns in one game I caught against Everett my Sophomore year.

Who is the best player(s) you have ever lined up against and what team did they play for ?
Nate Myers in practice.

What stadium, (HS/College/Pro) would you love to visit for a game ?
Kroger Field

What is your favorite Pro Sports team(any sport) ? Explain:
Indianapolis Colts, I love the program they have there and the coach’s.

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why ?
This past Super Bowl. Me and the family had bets as to who would win.

What sports movie could you watch every day if you had to pick one, and why ?
Gridiron Gang. One of the best football movies ever made.

Name one thing you’d love to do in football that may never happen ?
Return a kick for a touchdown.

Lacrosse

What is your most embarrassing sports moment ?
Dropping a wile open touchdown.

When you aren’t playing, practicing, or training for sports, what is your go to activity, and why ?
Hunting and fishing. To me it’s very relaxing.

Sheetz, never been to the other ones.

The beach.

Five Guys, they make the best burgers.

Yes, an Eagles game.

Kentucky, really good hunting and fishing there.
