Coach says: “Taurean is an absolute beast. He’s our Allstate Mike linebacker who lead our team in tackles and was second in sacks. He also had 160 yards rushing and 4 touchdowns in the state championship. He’s one of the most gifted athletes to come through BG. It should have monster seasons on both side sides of the ball. He averaged over 7 yards a Carry as a junior and has the perfect blend of speed quickness and elusiveness that makes him one of the best running backs in the state”.

Why do you play football?

It’s fun and you only get to play highschool football once in a lifetime

Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?

Paul George because I’ve watched him ever since I was little

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:

My one state championship touchdown run where I broke a lot of tackles spun out and scored.

What was last years season like for you?

It was great, being able to win a state championship with some of my closest friends in a small community was the best.

What are your goals for this coming season?

To get back to the state championship and get college interests.

Who is the best player you ever lined up against?

Austin Johnson

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?

Notre Dame vs Penn State in the semis because I’m a huge ND fan and all my friends are PSU fans so it was great.

Describe what the perfect teammate is

Someone who takes accountability, works hard, and has true emotion towards the sport.

Tell everyone why you think football is good for a community

It brings a lot of people together no matter what and it teaches everyone different things you will need at some point in your life.

Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?

Throw for a touchdown or kick a field goal

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?

I want to be like my grandfather because yes he was a great athlete but he is a great man aswell

What is your favorite practice drill? What is your least favorite practice drill?

LB drills are my favorite. Inside run is my least favorite.

Preseason Two a Days are: 

Very helpful and needed to be successful.

Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?

Some younger kids at the school because some of them asked me for my autograph after the state game.

When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?

Fishing or going on walks because they both help me relax

What is your favorite play to run?

Screen or toss

is a hot dog a sandwich? If not, then why? 

No because you can eat a hot dog without a bun and it would still be called a hot dog

Best thing you ever got from a teammate? Why?

Probably blocks because I wouldn’t be able to do anything without them.

Best Pizza topping? 

Cheese

What is your favorite vacation destination?

Ocean City Maryland

Do you remember what the first football game you saw was?

No but I do remember watching the ND vs Bama National Championship in 2012
