Coach says: “Mason is a complete football player. He plays hard on both sides of the ball and has been a leader since day one. Although he isn’t the most vocal, you will not find a better example for a student-athlete than Mason. He is an honor student and tremendous athlete with a future in athletics ahead of him at the next level”.

Why do you play football?

Enjoy competing for my school and with my friends

Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?

Saquon Barkley. He is an athletic freak and a great guy

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:

I will always remember all of my long touchdown runs because it gets everybody fired up

What was last years season like for you?

It was fun and one of our best seasons that brought the whole community together

What are your goals for this coming season?

Out goal is to go undefeated in regular season and make a run for district title

Who is the best player you ever lined up against?

Hard to say one

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?

My favorite game to watch was out game vs mo valley because it was a very physical game and the crowd was loud and into the game

Describe what the perfect teammate is

I kid that comes to practice everyday with a great attitude and energy that only wants to team to succeed

Tell everyone why you think football is good for a community

Everyone in the town comes together every Friday night and supports the athletes

Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?

Winning a state title

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?

I’m not sure

What is your favorite practice drill? What is your least favorite practice drill?

Favorite is team 7v7. Least favorite is tackling fundamentals

Preseason Two a Days are: 

Great because we sleep at the school for a week

Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?

They all support me a lot

When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?

During football season it’s hunting

What is your favorite play to run?

Qb runs
