COACH SAYS: Rocko is a great leader and team player. Rocko leads by example and is an extremely hard worker. Rocko has been dedicated to the weight room this off-season and has added strength and size. Rocko has set himself up for a strong senior season and will be a tremendous leader for our team.
What is the best part of being a student-athlete for the Wolves?
Definitely the coaches, they look out for you and make the people that often feel unwelcome welcome.
Why do you play football ?
I play football because I believe it builds character, most notably mental toughness.
How long have you been playing football(any level) ?
I have been playing since 5th grade, so 7 years.
It’s GameDay !! What are you looking forward to the most ?
Dominating the player in front of me. That’s the name of the game, make them loathe the next snap on both sides of the ball.
Of all the road games you have played, which stadium had the best overall atmosphere, along with what made it so good ?
Probably either Homer Center or Cambria Heights. Both have outstanding bands, while Cambria Heights has the nicer field.
If the game is on the line, do you want to be on offense or defense ? Explain:
I feel a good defensive stop is doable and much more effective than having to work your way down a field.
As an athlete, what has been your biggest achievement ?
Winning All-Conference in Wrestling this past season.
What was the high point of the 2024 season ?
Leading my team in tackles.
What are your goals for the 2025 season ?
I want my team to be able to run the ball down people’s throats, no matter how good the defense thinks they are/is.
What are you going to miss the most from the class of 2025 ?
A few of the Seniors were pretty close with me.
Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like the most, and why ?
Probably my dad, he’s a hall of famer for IUP and was in the top 500 to ever play there. He went on to play professional arena football. He’s the whole reason I started the sport.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most ? Explain:
I am a big fan of 26 counter.
Who is the best player(s) you have ever lined up against and what team did they play for ?
I have no clue. Probably some of those Northern Cambria kids. They are all tough kids.
What stadium, (HS/College/Pro) would you love to visit for a game ?
Highmark Stadium in Buffalo.
What is your favorite Pro Sports team(any sport) ? Explain:
Bills, I love them since they gave my Dad a look when he was out of college.
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why ?
Watching the Bills beat the Ravens was exciting, because they were the underdogs.
What sports movie could you watch every day if you had to pick one, and why ?
Greater, it’s the story of a nobody becoming a somebody. Brandon Burlsworth worked his butt off and got drafted to the Cowboys. It’s also a real story.
Name one thing you’d love to do in football that may never happen ?
Intercept the ball for a pick-6.
Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:
Basketball, it looks pretty fun, I’m just horrible.
What is your most embarrassing sports moment ?
I got blown up on a trap pull in 8th grade. I was staring up at the sky by the end of it.
When you aren’t playing, practicing, or training for sports, what is your go to activity, and why ?
I love fishing because it’s about as close to nature as you can get.
Which one, Sheetz, Wawa, or Rutters ? Explain:
Sheetz, never been to the others.
What is your favorite vacation destination ?
Anywhere that I can go fishing at the beach.
If you were handed a lot of money, what would be the first thing you would do with it ?
Pay off every bill my parents have so they can retire.
Tell us something that you have a fear of ?
On a serious note, losing loved ones. On a humorous note, heights.
Favorite Fast Food/Burger place and why ?
DQ, I don’t know why but they are just so good.
Have you ever been to a professional sports game, which ones ?
Steelers game when they played the Jaguars.
NBA, NHL, MLB, NCAAF, NFL, Which league is the best and why ?
I enjoy watching the NFL the most because you can really get to know the players, and the hits are always nice.
What is your favorite video game, on mobile and or console ?
Red Dead Redemption 2
What toppings go on your favorite pizza ?
Fresh mushrooms all day.

Biology
Favorite Band/Musician ?
My favorite band is probably either Deftones, Red Hot Chili Peppers, or Foo Fighters.
Airplane, Boat, or Vehicle(motorcycles included), how would you travel and to where ?
Airplane, straight to Jamaica.
Name one thing in life(NOT SPORTS RELATED) you would like to achieve:
Start my own veterinarian practice.
Location you think would be the best place to live(ie: island, mountains, city, etc) ? Explain why:
I like the suburbs, not to urban and not to country.
