Why do you play football?
It’s helped me become a leader on and off the field and has taught me the value of hard work and dedication

Leading my team on the field and giving everything I have every Friday night
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
Tom Brady – because he is one of the greatest QB’s to ever play the game and he showed what being a leader is all about
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
When I scrambled on a pass play against Marion Center and threw a TD pass right before halftime
What was last years season like for you?
It was a great season for myself and my teammates as we were able to turn things around after back to back 2 win seasons..we won 8 games and advanced to the D6 Class A semi finals
What are your goals for this coming season?
To continue building on last year’s success and to keep working on being a team leader, and hopefully win a D6 title

Jake Kissel from Bishop Guilfoyle
When the game is on the line, which college/professional coach would you like to call in the play?
Sean McVay from the LA Rams
What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?
Penn State
What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?
Pittsburgh Steelers
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
Playoff win over Moshannon Valley at home last season…it was Homer’s first Home playoff win since 2021
What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?
Friday Night Lights…they played for each other all season and were one play away from winning a state title
If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?
My Mom said she covers her eyes most of the time but will yell Go Carson…and since my Dad is my coach it is typically something like Get your a moving
Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
Have my favorite trick play (the Eagles QB throwback from the Super Bowl) work for once
Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
My Dad…he’s been my coach since I was 8 years old and has always brought out the best version in me year after year

What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
When I got body slammed in a JV game at Cambria Heights and got a concussion
If you could only drive one car for the rest of your life, what would it be?
A Corvette
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
Fishing and Hunting…because it helps me relax and I enjoy the outdoors
What is your favorite football memory to date?
When I played a whole game my sophomore year with a broken wrist.
