Why do you play football?

I play football because it allows me to develop skills and confidence that will aid me to be more successful in other sports, school, and life. Football also enables me to make stronger connections with teammates and coaches.

It’s gameday! What are you looking forward to the most?

On gameday what I look forward to most is running out under the lights and seeing all the people in the stands. I don’t view the people in the stands as pressure, it’s more of a privilege to be able to make plays and have the support from those watching.

Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?

My favorite sports star is Saquon Barkley because I grew up watching him in Beaver Stadium and he’s made some crazy plays that make you think anything is possible.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:

A play that has stuck in my head the most is the play when I got my first interception in my sophomore season. I’ll never forget this play because it was the most excited I had ever been and it left me with the most successful feeling.

What was last years season like for you?

Last year’s season was a season of ups and downs for me. I battled a few injuries that set me back a couple of games but ultimately when I was healthy I was making plays. When watching on the sideline it makes you realize how much you love your sport because you’re almost itching to get on the field and help your teammates win.

What are your goals for this coming season?

This upcoming season I hope to play the best football I have ever played in my life. I want to develop stronger bonds with my teammates and win a lot of football games with them and I always hope to make a playoff run.

Who is the best player you ever lined up against?

The best player I have ever lined up against is a former teammate of mine, Carson Nagle. He is the best quarterback I have faced to date and he helped me develop skills and knowledge about how to read quarterbacks.

When the game is on the line, which college/professional coach would you like to call in the play?

If the game is on the line I would call in Bill Belichick to call the play because is viewed as of the greatest football coaches of all time.

What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?

A college football stadium that I would love to visit for a game is the LSU Football stadium.

What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?

My favorite pro team is the Philadelphia Eagles.

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?

My favorite game to watch was my own football game vs Bellefonte last season. This game was the best game I’d ever played and watching it back and realizing how packed the stands were made me realize how special that game really was to my team and school.

What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?

A sports movie that I would watch every day if I had would be The Blind Side. It’s a movie about overcoming challenges and reaching success and everyone is going to face a challenge at some point but it’s important to be able to overcome those challenges to reach success.

If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?

If I hear my mom or dad yelling most of the time it’s a, “Let’s go Luke!”

Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?

Something that I would love to do in football is to have a game winning touchdown. This is something that every little kid dreams of or imagines themselves doing and if that could happen to me it would be a very special moment.

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?

The person I want to be like is my mother. I want to be like my mom because she loves and cares for me and my family unconditionally. She works very hard and does so much for me without asking for anything in return. I know that if I ever need anything in life I can always go to her for help and for that I am forever thankful.

Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:

A sport that I would love to play is hockey.

If you could only drive one car for the rest of your life, what would it be?

If I could only drive one car for the rest to my life it would be a Mercedes Benz.

When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?

My go to activity outside of sports is to hang out with my friends. I love doing this because it’s fun to make memories and to have them to look back at when I am older.
