Coach Says: Tyler enters this season as a three-year starter and one of the unquestioned leaders of the program. Heading into his final year, he has embraced a leadership role and continues to set the standard with his toughness and work ethic.
Last season, Tyler recorded 84 tackles while also contributing offensively with 233 rushing yards and 372 passing yards. His impact on the defensive side of the ball earned him All-Gazette Second Team honors at defensive back.
Tyler is the definition of a do-it-all player. His versatility allows us to move him around and utilize him in multiple ways on both sides of the football. Whether it’s making plays defensively or contributing offensively, he consistently finds ways to help our team succeed.
Above all else, Tyler is one of the toughest players I have ever coached. His physicality, competitiveness, and willingness to do whatever the team needs make him an invaluable part of our program. We expect him to have a big senior season and continue to be a major impact player for us on both sides of the ball.
