Season Outlook
Replacing the leadership and production of Logan Rarrick, Ian Valimont, Jackson Long, Gavin DuFour, and Will Oskin is no small task. While those players leave behind a tremendous legacy, this year’s Raider Football team is filled with a hungry, determined group of young athletes eager to make their own mark on the 2026 season. Although we have just six seniors on the roster, each will play a vital role in our offensive, defensive, and special teams units. Senior wide receiver Ashten Howell returns as our top offensive performer, junior linebacker Carson Crawford leads the way as our top returning defensive performer, and senior punter Caleb Bartley is back as our top special teams performer. Along the line of scrimmage, junior Ben Cherinka is the lone returning starter from the 2025 offensive line, while senior Mason Englert is the only returning starter on the defensive line. Their experience will be instrumental as we develop a talented group of young players around them. The foundation for this season was built during the stretch run of 2025, when we won three of our final four games and captured the District 6 AAAA Championship. That momentum, combined with the work ethic and determination of this year’s team, has created excitement heading into the 2026 season. Our players understand the expectations that come with wearing the Raider uniform, and they’re ready to embrace the challenge of writing the next chapter of Bellefonte Raider Football.
