Bald Eagle Area begins hunt for LHAC title with a win over powerhouse BG (gallery)

The Marauder scored first, but the Eagles scored 17 straight points to get their first LHAC win in Wingate Friday night, 17-7. Kaden Wyandt capped the opening drive with a 3 yard run to put BG up 7-0. Nick Wible got BEA on the board with a 30 td reception from Carson Nagle early in the second quarter. Kaden Burns hit a 36 yard field goal and Cameron Dubbs finished out the scoring with a 9 yard run.

BG had their chances but came up empty 3 times deep in BEA territory. Cam Watkins blocked a 42 yard field goal attempt and another field goal attempt came up short.

BG will try to get back on trackwith McCort-Carroll while BEA heads to Central.
