BEA closes out regular season strong with win over Purchase Line (Gallery)

Bald Eagle Area closed out the regular season with a 19-0 shutout over Purchase Line.

The game started out slow with both teams trading possessions. Then the flood gates opened for the Eagles. Neither team scored until the 7 minute mark in the second quarter when Cameron Dubbs busted loose for a 20 yard td run.

Just over two minutes later Carson Nagle found Wyatt Spackman for a 20 yard td pass and the closer and final score of the game was a 55 yard pick 6 by Gavin Eckley. Right now it looks like BEA will host Bellwood-Antis, a 42-0 loser to Penns Valley last night.

“Purchase Line came to play, they’re very physical. We should have scored numerous times but they did a nice job and clamped us down” said Head Coach Jesse Nagle of BEA
