Jake Hohenshelt Makes his College Decision Official.

Today Jake Hohenshelt made his Commitment official when he sighed his national letter of intent to the College of Holy Cross. Holy Cross is Located in Massachusetts and plays in the FCS’s Patriot League.
I got a chance to talk to Jake and he said this on why Holy Cross”The family atmosphere that they’ve built there is something you can’t really find or make anywhere else. It’s definitely a special place that’s for sure. Talk about having all three things, great atmosphere, great academics, and great football and Holy Cross has all three things.” I also asked who he wanted to thank for helping him to get this point “ I want to thank Coach Lintal, Coach Freeman, Coach Kaluza ,and Coach Reeder for helping me out here. I’d also like to thank my family like I said in my speech their my rock their my everything I wouldn’t be here without them so I want to really give them all my love.”
I also got a chance to talk to State Colleges Head football coach Matt Lintal and asked about Jake and his impact on the team “ It’s been fun to watch his growth just from coming in as a first year football player as a sophomore at 6’1 195 pounds and leaving as a 6’4 280 pound division one scholarship football player. His journey hasn’t just been one of natural growth it’s been one of a lot of hard work, a lot of hard work and effort has gone into this. So once Jake was sold on football Jake gave everything that he could for football and has had a really tremendous career earning himself an opportunity to be a captain, a all conference football player as both a tight end and a offensive tackle so you know pretty special young man and we’re gonna miss him a lot and his leadership”
