Quinn Murphy kicked two field goals and Finn Furmanek had three td passes, including one that changed the game in the third quarter as the Little Lions pulled away for the 34-20 win. After being dominated in the first half, the Tigers put together two scoring drives to pull within 17-14 with 8 minutes left in the third quarter.
It looked as though Hollidaysburg were about to take the lead but Jashaun Green intercepted a Jake McGinnis pass in the endzone. He then took a quick hitch 75 yards to put State up 24-14. Murphy hit a 38 yard field goal and Furmanek landed his third td pass of the game. Hollidaysburg closed out the scoring with a td pass by McGinnis.
State College will face Chambersburg next week and the Tigers will take on Bellefonte.
