Quarterback battle at Mt. Union worth the show, Claysburg-Kimmel gets the win (video highlights)

Mason Campagna (Claysburg-Kimmel) and Nazier Collins (Mt. Union) are two ferocious competitors and lead their team in every category offensively possible. The Bulldogs came in a 6-2 and needed a win to control their own ICC destiny. The Trojans, dressing just 15 players this night, entered at 7-1 and wanted to keep their spot atop the heap in the ICC North. The battle went as billed until the end of the first half when, with the score tied at 21, Collins appeared to pull a hamstring muscle. The second half was all Bulldogs with Collins unable to perform at top speed. Still, even with the injury, Collins stayed in at qb and made play after play. A warrior like effort but the Bulldogs feasted on his inability to go the distance and pulled away for the 51-28 win.
