Right from the opening kickoff, it seemed like it was gonna be a good game between the Penns Valley Rams and the Richland Rams. However, Penns Valley drove the ball right down to the one just to turn the ball over on a short third and goal. Two plays later the Richland Rams running back Zack Vogelsberger took the ball 68 yards down to the Pv Rams 31-yard line. This would just be the beginning for Vogelsberger as he accounted for over 100 rushing yards and four touchdowns tonight. The first of his four came just a few players as he trucked his way into the end zone from 4-yards out. This made the score 7-0 with 7:41 left to go in the first. Not long after Penns Valley had another turnover giving the ball to the Richland Rams on the PV 34-yard line. A few plays later quarterback Joe Hauser found Griffin Larua in the heavy fog for a 24-yard touchdown. The PAT was good making the score 14-0 Richland with 4:33 to go in the first. The Penns Valley Rams could not find a spark in offense and were forced to punt to the dangerous Richland offense.

Again the Richland Rams capitalized when Joe Hauser found Trevor Tustin for a huge 55-yard touchdown. The PAT was good increasing the Ram lead to 21-0. The PV Rams offense continued its struggle turning the ball over for the third time of the night. Richland couldn’t do anything with the ball as Joe Hauser threw his first interception of the night right into Cole Breon’s arms. Three plays later Aaron Tobias hit Ryan Ripka for a huge 96-yard touchdown. This was a huge play and seemed for a minute it was finally time for the Rams. The PAT was good making the score 21-7 Richland with 3:57 to go in the 2nd qt. Richland however, answered right back the following drive. They took the ball all the way down the field followed by a 3-yard touchdown run for Vogelsberger. The PAT was no good making the score 27-1. The Penns Valley Rams got the ball back and turned it over for the fourth time in the game and it was just the first half. Again a few plays later Vogelsberger finished the drive with a 23-yard touchdown run making the score 33-7 with just 0:12 seconds left in the half.

The second half began just like it ended, Vogelsberger took a handoff from 15-yards out and stumbled into the end zone. This made the score after the 2 point conversion 41-7. Penns Valley had no answer on offense and was forced to keep punting the ball away. Later in the third Richland kicker nailed a 27-yard field goal making the score 44-7 Richland. Richlands quarterback would find Trevor Tustin for a 44-yard touchdown to begin the fourth quarter. This made the score 52-7 with 11:48 to go in the fourth quarter. To end the game the Richland Rams hit a dagger when Kellen Stahl took a keeper 63-yards for the game-sealing touchdown. This game, unfortunately, finished a historic season for the Penns Valley Rams. They now finish the season with a record of 8-4. As for the Richland Rams, they still remain undefeated. They will play in the PIAA District 6 title game next week.
