Who is your favorite sports star and why?
My favorite sports star is Miles Sanders because he is from the same neighborhood as me and he has worked so hard to get to the NFL. He lets people from our area know that it’s possible.
Why do you play football?
I first started playing football for fun, but as I got older I realized I can use football to help my family. My cousin getting killed made me take football serious. He was the best player I ever played with, so I had to keep goin because I know he wanted to.
What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
In my third year playing football, i was playing defensive line and the running back on the other team fumbles the ball. I run, pick up the ball and run cluelessly in the wrong direction. Everyone was screaming “turn around”, but I just kept running until someone tackled me.
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
Probably listening to music because there’s no wrong time for music. There’s a song for any mood or time of day.
