Who is your favorite sports star and why?
Ronnie Lott. I used to wear his jersey #42. He could play corner and safety and was arguably one of the best in the NFL with 4 Super Bowls, 10 Pro Bowls, 2X leader in NFL interceptions.
What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?
Remember the Titans. The movie is what football is all about. Hard work, great coaches, brotherhood, community and breaking divides.
What cartoon character do you think your head coach most resembles.
Popeye ~ Popeye wasn’t down for discussions and was always up for a fight. Coach Carey is an action coach. He doesn’t want to discuss what we can do, he wants us to show him and fight for a place on that field.
If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?
“No one gets through LEW.” My mom used to yell that when I played youth football.
What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
Calling defense plays when my voice was changing.
