1- How long have you been playing football?
I’ve been playing football for as long as I can remember, I believe I was in first grade when I first started playing.
2- What other sports do you play?
Another sport that I am involved in is wrestling.
3- What has been you favorite moment on the field?
So far, my favorite moment that I’ve experienced on the field had to be standing up the Clairton running back on a goal line stand, which helped us gain momentum and win the game.
4- The team you like beating the most?
The team I liked beating the most was South Side Beaver in the WPIAL playoffs. My sophomore year, I was sidelined due to a lower back injury during a first round playoff loss to them. As fate would have it, we got them again last year in the first round and I was able to play and help lead my team to a playoff victory.
5- Who is your favorite athlete?
I would have to say that my favorite athlete is TJ Watt from the Pittsburgh Steelers. The intensity that he plays with on every snap is what every linebacker should try to replicate.
6- Besides your home field, where do you like playing the most?
Besides the home field, the venue I liked playing most at was at Southmoreland. The crowd was huge and it was just electric.
7- Favorite Class?
My favorite class this past year was probably Physics, when you have a great teacher like Mr. Reger, it makes any subject more enjoyable.
8- Do you plan on going to college and playing football?
I do plan on going to college and if I am presented with an opportunity to play college football, I would love to.
9- What are your team and personal goals for the season?
My team and personal goals are the same, make it to the WPIAL Championship and then win it. There is nothing more that I want than a WPIAL ring!
10- What is your favorite play to run?
My favorite play that we run on defense is when I get to blitz, nothing is better than blitzing! On offense the answer is simple, triple option. It’s the play that our whole offense revolves around!
11- Do you prefer offense or defense?
So far in my high school career, I’ve preferred defense. However, this year I should be taking all the snaps under center, so my choice may change as the season progresses!
12- What is your favorite thing to do off of the field?
My favorite thing to do off of the field is spend time with my friends and family, as well as fish.
13- What is your favorite TV show
My favorite TV shows are usually sports related. Any show where sports, especially football, is discussed and debated really intrigue me.
14- What type of music do you listen to?
I like to listen to all kinds of music, whether it’s country, rap, or rock. If it puts me in a good mood, I’ll listen to it.
15- What is you go to pregame meal?
I don’t like to eat anything heavy before a game, so I think my go to pregame meal is definitely a Gatorade and an energy bar. Something small but it gives me a needed boost.
