Why did you choose football?

I chose football because of the mentality that comes with the game. Football is a game of chess, you need to prepare for every move, every play, every situation since the game depends on it. I love being able to study film and know tendencies from a defense, so when the play works exactly like we prepared it, there is a sense of pride.

What is your favorite football memory?

My favorite football memory would be in the 2019 season at the very end of the year being able to pull out a comeback against Beth Center and being able to feel the entire town’s excitement.

What activities do you enjoy outside of football?

I really like to be social and find out more on the history of topics that interest me. One of these examples is Star Wars, I like to find out back stories and find facts that most people would have never of known.

What non-football accomplishment are you most proud of?

My favorite non-football accomplishment is being able to have a steady GPA. I take alot of pride in my academics, my teammates can vouch for that. I was able to maintain a cumulative GPA of a 3.56 but a sophomore average of a 3.89.

Who is your favorite athletes and why?

My favorite athlete is Tom Brady. He is easily one of the most hated athletes but he still thrives as the best quarterback of all time.

What has been the most difficult part of offseason training during the pandemic?

The most difficult part of training in the pandemic is that being a quarterback I couldn’t work on throwing to moving targets. I was only able to throw into nets. I was still able to run and lift but the throwing aspect was a difficult time since a net is not going to be standing out there at wide receiver.

Who is your biggest role model?

My favorite role model is also my favorite athlete. He is able to handle pressure insanely well and be calm in very stressful situations. You are able to see the fire in his eyes that he has for the game of football. He may be the most competitive athlete ever.

What’s one thing you hope other players can learn from you?

I hope that other players can learn that hard work is a key factor in success. If you don’t work hard and don’t give your all, you are going to have a life long time of regrets.

Favorite sports team?

My favorite sports team is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, mainly because of Tom Brady.

What are you looking to most this upcoming school year?

I’m just looking forward in seeing all my teachers and classmates again for this school year. Online lessons were not that bad but I miss being able to see everybody face to face.

What is your Pre-Game Meal?

My pregame meal is always my mom’s homemade spaghetti with her own sauce. I have it every time before games and it never gets old.

Any Superstitions?

My superstition is to always say a prayer for a game. The Lord gave me the will and power to play this sport so I thank Him for it. The prayer has turned into a team prayer as right before we run out of the tunnel we all get on a knee and grab a brother to pray.
