Why do you play football?
I play football because the love I have for the sport is far too great. Ever since I was a little kid, I have always wanted to be in the NFL, and my goal has not changed since then.
What has been your best memory from football so far?
My best memory playing football, at least in high school is always the ride home after a great victory over an opponent.
Who is your favorite pro athlete and why?
As of right now, my favorite pro-athlete is Jalen Ramsey. I’ve been watching him play ever since he was in college and I want to shape my defensive style to his, and he’s such a fun player to watch. Offensively, my favorite player is without a doubt, Marshawn Lynch. He is my favorite player because he is so electric on the field. He’s a great tough running back and is a very cool guy to watch.
Who is your biggest fan and why?
Is there any specific person you look up to and use as a role model?
My role model in life is my father. My father is the best role model figure for me because he’s a genuine guy and always there for me. He’s always supporting me and definitely puts a lot of his free time into shaping me into the best man I can be on and off the field.
What is your desired major in college?
Human Biology.
Coming off a year with COVID struggles, what do you think this year will be like?
Coming off of a year with COVID struggles, I believe that we will definitely be more prepared. We figured out how to move around the virus and next year will definitely be better.
Favorite play to run?
My favorite play to run is the halfback toss.
What is your personal goal for this season?
My personal goal this season is to become All-State in the positions I play.
Favorite pre-game meal?
My favorite pre-game meal is chicken teriyaki and rice.
Sports movie?
Although it’s not football related my favorite sports movie is Coach Carter.
Sport you’d love to play but can’t?
Without a doubt, if I could play a sport right now, it would be kickball. Kickball is one of the most fun sports to play and most heart racing too. I like kicking the ball very far, stealing bases, and making unbelievable catches.
Most embarrassing sports moment?
My most embarrassing football moment is for sure when I play pop warner football in Florida, I punted the football straight up in the air, not toward or backward. I ended up walking off the field and almost crying about it, for sure funny to look back at it now.
What are you looking forward to most this year?
For this upcoming season, I am looking forward to playing and building a relationship with the players and coaches. Since we’ve just gathered a new coaching staff and a couple of transfers and newcomers to football, we have a lot of room for growth as a team this year. So far it’s been very promising and our relationship on and off the field will keep growing.
Favorite activities?
My favorite activities outside of football include kickball, with being the most exciting sport I’ve played outside of football. I also enjoy gaming with my friends whenever I have the time to, and swimming at pools is another fun thing I like to do, especially with friends.
