_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________What is the best part about playing football?
The excitement that surrounds Friday night lights, including the camaraderie with the team and the high level of competition on the field.
What has been your best memory from football so far?
The season opener against Connellsville last year. I had over 100 receiving yards and two touchdowns, including the game winner in the last 40 seconds of the game.
Who is your favorite pro athlete and why?
Rob Gronkowski. Growing up playing youth football, I was always bigger and had good hands. The coaches would call me “Gronk”. I’ve always looked up to him.
Is there any specific person you look up to and use as a role model?
I look up to my dad every day of my life! While his football career was cut short due to a knee injury during his senior year of high school, he was an all conference tight end. He taught me everything I know about having soft hands and started the legacy of “Hands Heinle.” Outside of football, he grinds hard to provide for our family of 6 and is the best dad anyone could ever ask for he’s my biggest fan!
What would be your desired major in college?
Business
Coming off a year with COVID struggles, what do you think this year will be like?
Coming out of the lock down, the atmosphere is going to be incredible, with fans, the cheerleaders and band. Our team has been working harder than ever before, so our expectations are high.
Favorite play to run?
We have a play where I signal the QB on the route I’m running based on the coverage. It could be a fade, slant, dig, etc.
Favorite pre-game meal?
Spaghetti
Favorite place to eat out?
Wendy’s. When I was younger they would call me “Calvinator-Baconator”.
Favorite sports movie?
Happy Gilmore.
Pregame music genre to get you pumped up?
Rap/Hip Hop.
Favorite class in school?
Graphics Design.
Favorite activity you do during the off season?
Basketball
Other than your home stadium/field, what stadium/field would you rate the best?
Woodland Hills “The Wolverina”.
Most embarrassing sports moment?
Sophomore year, I was the varsity holder. During the opening game, I mishandled my very first snap as I scrambled to jump on it. I never missed a snap after that.
College Offers… If so, by what schools?
Slippery Rock University.
What are you looking forward to most this year?
In regards to my team and myself, we will be opening a lot of eyes in the WPIAL and college scouts.
