Why do you play football?
I play football because one day I want to wake up and do something I do. Instead of waking up and doing a 9-5 I wanna wake up and live my dream.
What has been your best memory from football so far?
Being in team meetings and having personal conversations, crying together, sweating together is something I’ll remember forever.
Who is your favorite pro athlete and why?
Troy Polamalu and Hines Ward because they weren’t always the biggest but they always flew around the field.
Who is your biggest fan and why?
My mom, dad, and brother.
Is there any specific person you look up to and use as a role model?
My brother, he’s a cool person and keeps me on track.
What is your desired major in college?
Business
Coming off a year with COVID struggles, what do you think this year will be like?
I honestly think this year is gonna be the best year for high school football for a lot of people. A lot of seasons were cut short and a lot of people are coming with a chip on their shoulder.
Favorite play to run?
Man to man, you have to take everything personally.
What is your personal goal for this season?
I want to uplift the younger guys to show they can be on the field and grind harder to get a position on the field. Don’t let the stereotype that oh he’s older be in your mind and grind for what you want.
Favorite pre-game meal?
Candy.
Sports movie?
The Longest Yard.
Sport you’d love to play but can’t?
Jiu-Jitsu.
Most embarrassing sports moment?
In sixth grade, I stole the ball and scored in their hoop.
Favorite activities?
Being outside, riding dirt bikes, quads, and hanging out with friends.
