In watching your hudl highlights I am impressed with the way you can pull, get downfield, and still find someone to hit. How much of this is natural athletic ability and how much has come from your coaches?

I have a lot of natural athletic ability but my coaches have brought my game to another level.

Which is harder for you pass blocking or run blocking?

I would have to say pass blocking is harder because we rep run blocking more in practice. We are more of a running team.

Do you like the offensive line or the defensive line the most?

I like offensive line more because I love running after linebackers and knocking them over. Also, I think I have a higher chance to play offensive line in college.

What have you done during the off-season to become a better player?

In the off-season, I have been working on my strength in the weight room, and I have been working on my speed.

Butler has struggled on the football field for a while. What do you think as a player has to happen to change this?

Our numbers have been down in the past but this year we have a lot of guys who are working hard. We also have five returning linemen who are ready to ball out.

What goals have you set for yourself as well as for the team?

The team’s goals are to have more wins than losses and to make the playoffs. Some of my goals are to help my running backs succeed, not give up a sack, and get at least one pancake a game.

Which stadium other than your own do you enjoy playing at the most?

I enjoy playing at Erie Veterans’ Stadium.

What is the hardest part of practice?

The hardest part of practice is sled work on hot summer days.

What type of music do you enjoy the most?

My favorite type of music is rap and country.

Have you ever been to a division three college football game?

I have never been to a division 3 game but I have seen division 2 teams like slippery rock.
