What was the toughest part about the 2020 short season?

Definitely only having a 6 game regular season. Only having 6 games didn’t let our team develop to our full potential, and it was really upsetting when we weren’t able to make it to the playoffs. I’m very happy that football season will be returning to normal this upcoming season.

What are you looking most forward to this coming season?

I’m ready to watch my team develop and see what we can accomplish. I feel that we have a team that can make a deep run in the playoffs.

At 6-3, 295 pounds with very good grades you have a lot of what college coaches look for. Going forward with that do you plan on playing college ball?

I am planning on playing college football.

Which schools have you heard from?

I have heard from a few schools. Lehigh, Lafayette, Harvard, Dartmouth, and YSU are just a few of those schools.

This one is a little hard for some to answer. What is your greatest strength on the field as well as your weakness?

I would say that my greatest strength is my flexibility. I am able to move very well for my size, and this allows me to have a big edge over much of my competition. My biggest weakness is probably driving my feet through contact.

Which side of the ball is the hardest for a lineman?

I would say that an offensive lineman is more difficult than defensive line. As an offensive lineman, there are many more rules that you need to follow and multiple different assignments that you need to know at all times. The mental game makes offense more difficult.

Most schools seem to play the same few songs during warm-ups. Do players really get fired up by them?

There are many players on my team that always get hype to the on-field pre-game music, but I am not one of the them. Most of the time I don’t even hear the music, and also they usually play rap during pre-game. I do not know how people listen to rap before a game, I need hard rock.

What is your favorite class?

Other than gym class, I would say my favorite class is math. I have always been a math person.

What is your pregame routine?

I always take laps around the field that I am playing on before the game. I usually stop in the far endzone and pray. Other than that I am usually just sitting with my headphones in and getting mentally prepared.
