What is the best part about playing football?
The best part about playing football is the brotherhood that is built through battling all year round. Whether it’s practice, games, off-season workouts, or even around the school, the common bond, character, and mentality is what makes it special.
What has been your best memory from football so far?
After a tough year of very little successes, our team hit the weight room and regrouped. Our first chance of redemption came at the W&J 7 on 7 tournament, where we rallied and won the whole thing. This was a huge step for us as it opened our eyes to what is about to happen.
Who is your favorite pro athlete and why?
My favorite pro athlete is Peyton Manning. I admire his ability to lead, his demeanor on and off the field, his sense of humor, and his driving desire to win.
Is there any specific person you look up to and use as a role model?
I look up to my brother Jake Dixon the most. He has experienced high school football and is currently experiencing college football. He has been very successful and also fought through adversity. His work ethic and character are unmatchable. This is who I aim to model myself after.
What would be your desired major in college?
Kinesiology
Coming off a year with COVID struggles, what do you think this year will be like?
I think the feeling of Friday Night Football will be back. School on Fridays, team dinners on Thursday night, packed stadiums, and LOUD fans. I am more than excited to see what this year brings.
Favorite play to run?
Smash Slot-Post
Favorite pre-game meal?
Chicken Parm from Pasta too.
Favorite place to eat out?
Little Tokyo
Favorite sports movie?
Space Jam
Pregame music genre to get you pumped up?
It is normally a week to week thing, but the go-to is rap.
Favorite class in school?
Math
Favorite activity you do during the off season?
Golf
Other than your home stadium/field, what stadium/field would you rate the best?
The Wolvarena
Most embarrassing sports moment?
Going 0-7.
College Offers… If so, by what schools?
Wheeling University
What are you looking forward to most this year?
Flipping the narrative and getting Bethel Park football back on track.
