Our thoughts:
The Knights struggled last season but at time you could see the flashes of something building. They lost a great asset in Tyler Buterbaugh to graduation but Gavin McGowan, Keagan Fraser and Exzavier Johnson will fill that hole nicely. Look for the Knights to make some noise while “defending the Castle.”
What are your expectations for your team this year?
We return a core of players that played a lot of snaps during the 2020 campaign, many of them for the first time. The years of experience under the lights will help build a foundation for success in 2021.
When your team is on offense, what are the keys to success?
We must maintain possession of the ball, move the chains and not commit penalties.
When your team is on defense, what are the keys to success?
We will need to hold teams in key situations (3rd and long, 2nd medium) and not allow our defense to be on the field as much.
Players we should keep an eye on?
Keagan Fraser, Exzavier Johnson, Jake Murphy, Nevin Peart, Alex Cotton
