Coach Tarrant says “Scoop Smith, 2026, WR, has already secured an offer from Nebraska. Speedy, Quick player who can change the game on any given play. Has a D1 scholarship offer in basketball as well. Scoop is lightning in a bottle. Very instinctive with the football. Great athleticism and balance, ability to make players miss is one of his great attributes”.

Why do you play football?
Something i was born into, my whole family played it and they passed the torch down to me and now the game is something i love.
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
Um actually i was really never a BIG lebron fan like i liked lebron but i wasn’t a big fan, and i’ve recently watched his documentary. It changed my perspective on him a lot obviously i know he didn’t come from a lot but the documentary shows how he literally came from nothing, poverty. So seeing lebron be the person he is today coming from what he came from definitely makes him one of my favorite sports stars.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
probably a reverse that we had because i knew i was gonna make something happen pretty much everytime i got it or when i have to run a out i know that i’m the first read and that was a play the we frequently ran in our playbook so it’s me vs whoever is infront of me and i got myself 10 times outta 10 times
What was last years season like for you?
It was a wild fun experience man we went from not about to make the playoffs to losing to the state champs in a pouring down game so it was a all around good season in my opinion but i’m going to miss my seniors the laughs and talks i’ve had with them is just like so rememberable they always tell me how good i could be and things that they can’t wait to see me do and stuff. Oh and we best PennHills!
What are your goals for this coming season?
i want to do big things this season i want to put up big numbers but most importantly i wanna win so if i’m not getting the ball and we are winning i’m good, i’m a winner so whatever it takes to win i’m down for it !

What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?
Any National Championship College game it doesn’t even matter the teams or where the stadium is i would love to visit !
What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?
Steelers/jags and the Warriors
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
2019 when Clemson beat alabama in the national championship!
What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?
“The sixth man” so much meaning behind it makes u wanna like better yourself after watching it everytime !
If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?
Just encouraging me saying things to get me going, my dad used to get on me and yell about everything i was doing wrong but now he keeps his mouth shut about it for the most part.
Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
Play in the Snow like a lot of it
Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
So many people I could make a list, look at every player in the league and that’s who i wanna be, if your successful i wanna be something like u so it’s hard to single a person out because there’s so many of those people you know.
Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:
Idk man i’m a athlete i do it all skid naw but probably like golf or something lol.
What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
Playing bad infront of a big crowd forsurely!
Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?
My whole family and some family friends they all show impeccable love towards me and my career.
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
Probably going home and chillin with my dogs ima big dog person and i love my dogs and it’s kinda rare that i’m not doing any of this three so when im not im probably resting and chilling.
What is your favorite football memory to date?
definitely when i played flag football for East Allegheny and equipment for Woodland hills i was a twerp and i went undefeated on both teams and had my championship games on the same day so i left my twerp game that we won with Woodland Hills to go to my EA game and we were actually losing at half time of my flag game i was crying and my mom gave me a speech that i remember till this day and i came out nd went crazy and we end up winning so that’s definitely my favorite memory went undefeated on two teams and won the championships on the same day.

like i said before the reverse or the out
What scares you the most?
Failure

depends on the day tbh sometimes i’m hyper trynna get turnt and sometimes i’m laid back chillin trynna vibe but i pretty much listen to everyone.
What was your favorite gift as a little boy? Why?
probably like a hoverboard or something electric that i could ride around my neighborhood when i was a kid .

no but i remember the first one i played in i was like 2 lol
